Plane passenger dies on Ryanair return flight to Dublin

A tragic incident unfolded on Tuesday, 18th June, when a plane landed at Dublin Airport. A 60-year-old woman, returning from a holiday in Spain, passed away. The passenger travelled on a Ryanair flight with her son, daughter, and a friend.

Local media report on the dramatic event on Tuesday, 18th June. A 60-year-old woman died at Dublin Airport. According to limerickleader.ie, the 60-year-old was travelling on a Ryanair plane. She was returning from Málaga, Spain, where she was on holiday with her loved ones.

The Irish police reported receiving a call about a "sudden medical emergency" on board the plane.

Gardai and emergency services were alerted to a medical emergency onboard a flight which landed at Dublin Airport, on Tuesday night, June 18, 2024. A female in her 60s was pronounced deceased a short time after landing — an Irish police spokesperson informed, as quoted by mirror.co.uk.

Death of a plane passenger

The woman's body was transported to the mortuary at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown. The 60-year-old most likely died of natural causes. The authorities do not suspect any foul play.

Mirror.co.uk recalls that just a few days ago, a similar incident occurred—a strong 8-year-old girl from Missouri, USA, died while traveling to Chicago.

The SkyWest Airlines plane made an emergency landing, but the child's life could not be saved. According to the coroner's office, the girl suddenly felt worse and then lost consciousness during the flight.
