Pentagon report debunks UFO and extraterrestrial technology claims
The report was issued in response to numerous reports and speculations, as well as the public statements of David Grusch. The retired military and former AARO employee stated under oath that the American government has been aware of an extraterrestrial civilization since the 1930s and even possesses objects of "non-human origin" and technology obtained through reverse engineering.

Do UFOs exist?
The conclusions presented by AARO contradict the testimonies of Grusch and his partners. The published document emphasized that no evidence was found to confirm the extraterrestrial nature of the unidentified aerial phenomena.
"All investigative efforts at all classification levels have concluded that the majority of observations were of mundane objects and phenomena and were the result of misidentification" – this was written in the 64-page report.
Pentagon spokesperson Gen. Pat Ryder assured that the document is the result of a "rigorous investigation," with AARO members receiving access to the highest levels of information from all agencies.
Extraterrestrial technologies on Earth?
The report also addresses allegations that the American government and private companies "are reverse-engineering extraterrestrial technology" and hiding it from the world.
AARO confirmed that all US government-led projects related to UFO research since 1949 were analyzed. This led to the conclusion that none of them found evidence of extraterrestrial beings.
The analyses included, among others, research on claims about a flying saucer crash in Roswell, New Mexico - a mecca for ufologists known as the City of Aliens.
"AARO found no empirical evidence supporting claims that the U.S. government and private companies were involved in reverse-engineering extraterrestrial technology. AARO determined that claims regarding specific individuals, known locations, technological tests, and documents supposedly related to reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial technology are false" - it was explained.
