Pagani unveils one‑off epitome Huayra with manual transmission
The iconic Pagani has finally received a manual transmission. The Epitome version is a one-off model created for a particular customer's order.
The Huayra has been around for years. However, like the Zonda, Pagani will continue to build more units as long as customers demand them. Following the Codalunga, Imola, and Huayra R versions, it is time for another impressive variant. The Epitome will make its debut at the Festival of Speed in Goodwood.
The car is distinguished primarily by its manual transmission. This is the first Huayra with a manual transmission. Specifically, it is a seven-speed Xtrac gearbox with a triple-plate clutch, which more effectively transmits 1100 Nm of torque generated by the twin-turbocharged six-litre V12 engine.
The Epitome also features a quieter titanium exhaust system and an additional "Super Soft" mode that facilitates everyday smooth driving. It will undoubtedly come in handy on the boulevards of Monaco.
At the customer's request, the exterior was also modified. The front bumper with LED light accents, a larger air intake, and an integrated spoiler will allow it to stand out among other units.
The construction of the Epitome is handled by a special Grandi Complicazioni division, which built this car over 10 months. As usual, the price remains a mystery in such cases.
