- An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 was recorded on Monday before 9:00 PM GMT in Greece. Its epicentre was near the island of Euboea, east of Athens. The tremor was also felt in the capital city.
- Emmanuel Macron will not appoint Lucie Castets, the left-wing New People's Front (NFP) candidate, as the new prime minister - stated the Élysée Palace in a statement. The President of France concluded consultations with political party leaders on Monday.
