North Korean soldiers detained over security protocol breach
A dozen or so soldiers who participated in military exercises during Kim Jong Un's visit have been arrested. The dictator reportedly expressed concern about their behaviour, reports the "Daily NK" portal.
A source from Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, reported that around 20 soldiers were detained on 13th September and transported to the army security office. The main reason for the arrest was violating Kim's personal security protocols.
The leader's security team concluded that "Kim’s security team felt the soldiers lacked focus and appeared sloppy during shooting drills, potentially endangering the leader’s life." This incident highlights North Korea's great importance on the security of high-ranking leaders and how harshly any shortcomings in this area are dealt with.

The notifications also highlight the need for intensified training and ideological education and strengthening discipline within the army ranks to prevent similar incidents in the future.
