New MG ZS SUV to debut with hybrid powertrain this August

ZS is a smaller MG SUV rapidly gaining popularity in European markets. The new edition of this model will soon arrive at dealerships. What will change?

Social media has been abuzz with announcements of the new ZS. A short video gives us a closer look at the body shapes. The designers have followed the path initiated by the larger HS, which means a more aggressively designed front with a narrow radiator grille and more balanced proportions. Anyway, see for yourself.

However, what is most surprising is the badge with "Hybrid+", suggesting that a hybrid powertrain will join the lineup. It will likely be the same setup as the MG3, generating 195 metric horsepower (hp).

Besides that, the classic petrol engines should be already known from the existing ZS. We are talking about the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre units. However, for details, we have to wait for the official premiere. According to the announcement, it is already scheduled for the end of August.
