Some films can be watched multiple times, including those from the "Jurassic Park" and "Jurassic World" series. When they are shown on television again, they always enjoy great popularity. The same is true on streaming platforms. "Jurassic World Dominion" has now become a hit on Netflix.

The "Jurassic Park" trilogy was produced from 1993 to 2001. Dinosaur enthusiasts had to wait 14 years for the second series. The first "Jurassic World" was made in 2015 and was a gigantic success, with box office revenues reaching £1.38 billion. "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" earned £1.08 billion three years later. "Jurassic World Dominion" hit cinemas in 2022. Even in the challenging post-pandemic period, it grossed over £825 million.

As we learned recently, Universal Pictures will not make viewers wait long for the next part of the popular series, and likely a new series. A new dinosaur film will be released in July 2025. Deadline reported that it will be a completely new story with new characters.

Meanwhile, the final film of the second series, "Jurassic World Dominion," has become a hit on Netflix. It features stars from "Jurassic World" (Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard) as well as from the "Jurassic Park" trilogy (Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum). The theatrical production is viral on the platform.

Like any dinosaur film, "Jurassic World Dominion" is enjoyable to watch, although it's hard to disagree with the opinion that the plot is painfully predictable and naive. It is stretched to the limits and elongated endlessly (the film could benefit from being shortened by a good half hour).

There are also too many blended genres and unnecessary components. It has elements of adventure action cinema, top blockbusters, family drama, naive science fiction, and thriller. All of it is served with nostalgia in the spirit of contemporary remakes, where the old crew shares the stage with the young guard and tries to appeal to several generations of viewers.
