Missile strikes in Odesa claim lives and damage infrastructure

Three people were killed, and another three were injured early Wednesday morning in a Russian missile attack on Odesa in southern Ukraine, reported Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa regional administration, in a message on Telegram.

The Reuters agency recalls that on Monday, a Russian missile hit an educational facility in Odesa, killing five people.

Another attack on Odesa this week

The Russians also attacked Odesa on Monday. Five people were killed as a result of the attack - four died during the shelling, and the fifth died due to a stroke caused by the bombing. 32 people were injured.

Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that an enemy missile hit the so-called student palace belonging to the state university Odesa Law Academy.

As Kiper conveyed, 25 victims were hospitalized, including two children and one pregnant woman. The health condition of the girl, who has not yet turned five, is assessed by doctors as very serious. Six adults were also resuscitated.

Air raid sirens sounded in the city at 9:24 AM Greenwich Time, and just four minutes later, residents heard a loud explosion. Ukrainian air forces were able to warn that ballistic missiles might attack Odesa - reported the portal Suspilne Odesa.
