They searched for her for seven days. Most importantly—they found her. The 11-year-old girl was found in the forest near the village of Richki in the Lviv region. What happened to her in the last few days remains a mystery. "It's a miracle," Ukrainian media commented on finding the girl.

Her mother reported the disappearance of 11-year-old Solomiya. On 20 July, the girl left her home in Rava-Ruska in the Lviv region after 4 PM and stopped contacting her family, not returning home.

11-year-old went missing. Hundreds of people searched for her

Rescue services set out on a search.

In total, more than 600 people were involved in the action—police officers, rescuers, border guards, dog handlers, as well as volunteers and residents of the Lviv region. Helicopters and quadcopters were also used—the National Police of Ukraine reported.

The teams searched large areas of land metre by metre. They entered forests and checked water reservoirs.

The 11-year-old was found unconscious on Saturday, 27 July. According to the press office of the State Emergency Service, Solomiya was in the forest near the village of Richki, located in the Lviv region. It's just six kilometres from the house she left a week earlier.

The girl was exhausted, but her life is not in danger. "Our faith and our joint efforts did not go to waste. Solomiya has been found; she is now under doctors' supervision. We are grateful to everyone who joined the search, helped comb the area, provided information, and did not lose hope. Saving her was only possible thanks to our collective efforts," stated Oleksandr Shlakhovsky, head of the Lviv region police.
