Many pieces of information provided by Russian media or authorities are elements of propaganda. Such reports are part of the informational war conducted by the Russian Federation.

According to the exit poll results released by the Russian agency TASS on Sunday evening, Vladimir Putin won over 87 percent of votes in the presidential elections held on Friday. The information prompted a reaction from the former president of Russia, now the deputy head of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev.

"Congratulations to all enemies of Russia on the splendid victory of Vladimir Putin in the elections for the president of the Russian Federation! And thanks to friends for their support," - wrote the Kremlin's propagandist on the X platform.

Vladimir Putin won the presidential elections in Russia, securing over 87 percent of the votes - according to data published on Monday morning on the official website of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.

Polish ministry of foreign affairs on the elections in Russia

"On the days of 15-17 March, so-called presidential elections were held in Russia; the voting took place under extreme repression against society, preventing a free, democratic choice", - reads a statement from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. "These elections cannot be recognized as legal, free, or fair" - it was emphasized.

Contrary to international law, "elections" were also organized in Ukraine's temporarily occupied territories: the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as in the regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson.

"The voting was also conducted in Moldovan Transnistria and the regions of Georgia belonging to South Ossetia/Tskhinvali Region and Abkhazia. Such organized 'elections' cannot be recognized as legal, free, or fair," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement.
