Polish ministry of foreign affairs on the elections in Russia
"On the days of 15-17 March, so-called presidential elections were held in Russia; the voting took place under extreme repression against society, preventing a free, democratic choice", - reads a statement from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. "These elections cannot be recognized as legal, free, or fair" - it was emphasized.
Contrary to international law, "elections" were also organized in Ukraine's temporarily occupied territories: the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as in the regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson.
"The voting was also conducted in Moldovan Transnistria and the regions of Georgia belonging to South Ossetia/Tskhinvali Region and Abkhazia. Such organized 'elections' cannot be recognized as legal, free, or fair," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement.
