Marcus Rashford caught speeding

Marcus Rashford has faced many difficulties in recent months. The footballer lost the trust of many Manchester United fans. Although the second half of the previous season wasn't bad for him, in April, he dealt with an injury that excluded him from playing in several important matches.

Everything indicates that despite the problems, coach Erik Ten Hag will count on the Englishman in the upcoming season. The Red Devils lost to Norwegian Rosenborg 0-1 in the first friendly match, and the 26-year-old did not perform well. A few days after returning from Scandinavia, the winger made headlines again, unfortunately for him, not for positive sporting reasons.

According to the newspaper The Sun, the footballer was caught speeding by police on the M60 motorway in Manchester. The Red Devils star was driving a Rolls-Royce Cullinan Blue Shadow worth over £560,000.

Marcus Rashford temporarily lost his driving licence

The source states that Marcus Rashford was disqualified from driving for six months and fined £1,666. Furthermore, the footballer explained that seeing a white BMW driven by undercover police officers made him afraid he would be followed and accelerated.

Police officers reported that the Manchester United player drove 104 miles per hour. It is worth mentioning that this is not Rashford's first driving offence. In September 2023, the 26-year-old collided with another car while leaving the Red Devils' training base in Carrington. Neither driver was injured.
