The fire broke out in the town of Lesnoy Gorodok near Moscow. A column of black smoke could be seen from several kilometres away.
According to information shared on Telegram channels, a multi-level car park caught fire. At least 20 cars were burned.
Two people died. One person in serious condition was taken to hospital. According to Russian media, the fire is being extinguished. Firefighters are still working at the scene.
Preliminary information indicates that the cause was a gas cylinder explosion in one of the parked cars. The owner of this vehicle was taken to hospital.
