According to Swedish media, the incident occurred Thursday evening at the Bank Hotel in central Stockholm. That evening, Kylian Mbappé visited the Chez Jolie restaurant and the V nightclub before returning to the hotel.
Two days later, an official complaint was filed with the police. A special police unit is investigating the case, and on Monday, it worked at the alleged crime scene.
The newspaper "Aftonbladet" reported that the alarm was raised when the victim sought medical assistance at the local hospital.
Kylian Mbappé, who had left Sweden earlier by private jet from Bromma airport on Friday, has dismissed all allegations, describing them as "fake news" via his account on platform X (formerly Twitter).
It's becoming so predictable, just before the hearing as if by chance - wrote Mbappé, referring to the hearing scheduled on Tuesday regarding his dispute with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) over £46 million of unpaid salaries and bonuses.
The prosecutor in charge of the case declined to comment on the allegations, and Stockholm police spokeswoman Carina Skagerlind issued a similar statement in a conversation with "MailOnline."
The police cannot confirm or deny that such a case is occurring. According to "Aftonbladet," no specific individuals have been identified as suspects.
Is France angry at Kylian Mbappé?
Meanwhile, the French player missed two matches with the national team in the UEFA Nations League due to a hamstring injury, which has sparked criticism in his homeland.
Didier Deschamps, the national team coach, stated that he did not select the player because he was not fully fit.
The interests of clubs and the interests of national teams necessarily diverge at some point - commented the France coach.
Mbappé, the captain of the French national team, has scored 48 goals in 86 appearances and is the third most successful player.
