King Charles plans a reunion with Harry amid family health crises

Since King Charles was diagnosed with cancer, the British ruler's approach to Prince Harry and his children was supposed to change. It is said that the monarch complained to friends that his relationship with Archie and Lilibet, who live in California, still leaves much to be desired. The 75-year-old is ready to take bold steps to build a bond with them.

The crisis in the royal family still has no end in sight. Everything began to fall apart after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the ranks of the royal family. First, the royals had to deal with the deaths of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth, only to then face another blow - the cancer diagnosis of both Kate Middleton and King Charles in a short span of time.

Relations between various royal family members still leave much to be desired. According to British media, the brotherly conflict between King Charles and Prince Andrew has intensified recently. The monarch is said to be thoroughly fed up with his disgraced brother. It's about his agreement with him that the Duke of York did not fulfill.

In this challenging situation, the ruler undergoing chemotherapy sees even more clearly what is essential in life. It turns out that the ailing monarch supposedly has a plan to rebuild family relations, which he wants to implement as soon as possible. According to a source from the Daily Mail, the 75-year-old is seriously considering whether to make an effort to strengthen family ties with his estranged son and his family. It is said that the king is considering inviting Harry, Meghan, and their children to join him at his summer estate. Additionally, a source from the service claims that Charles communicates with Archie and Lilibet through video calls, but it's no longer enough for him. The British ruler is said to have shared his concerns with a close group of friends.

"He values family above everything and whatever the course of his relationship with his son he would never be content with just seeing his grandchildren on the odd video call," reports the Daily Mail informant.

Sources indicate that despite broken relations with Harry, King Charles is reportedly a "fantastic and enthusiastic grandfather" to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. It is also believed that 76-year-old Queen Camilla has been a driving force behind the decision to step up efforts to see the other grandchildren.

It is worth adding that a year ago, the king was reportedly not eager for the grandchildren living across the ocean to play a more significant role in his life. Let us recall that when Charles was named ruler of the United Kingdom, some royals received new titles, which were also supposed to apply to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's children. British media reported that Archie and Lilibet might soon receive princely titles.

Later, the matter became complicated—the newly minted monarch was reluctant to include the Sussex children in the royal ranks formally. Only after a few months did the king publicly announce that Archie and Lilibet could now officially use the princely titles and would be officially known as prince and princess.
