Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck split: No public announcement planned

It looks like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage is now history. For weeks, tabloids have revealed details of their split, and the actor and singer have no plans to give it another shot. On Monday, we showcased what the 55-year-old star's birthday party looked like, but her husband did not show up.

Now, the media reports that Jennifer and Ben are not even trying to fix their marriage. A source from Fox News Digital claims that the couple has accepted their split but has no intention of making it public—at least not for now.

The portal's informant states they won’t get back together and have no plans to announce their separation. Jen did everything she could to make it work, but he is a different person now.

For some, it might be surprising that Lopez was accompanied on holiday by Affleck's adult daughter, Violet. The ladies have grown fond of each other and enjoy spending time together.

Violet and all the kids have remained close to JLo which is [why] Violet is in the Hamptons with JLo. JLo wants to be there for Ben's kids. She's changed her life and made it more about the children. She thought she'd be doing this with Ben, and she's not. Ben's kids really do like JLo, and they loved seeing their dad so happy with JLo - the media informant points out.

Jennifer's good relationship with Ben's children is also why the couple does not plan to announce their split. However, this does not change the fact that their marriage is over, and nothing will change that.
