Israel's covert operation: Airstrike kills Hezbollah leader Nasrallah because of Iranian spy

An Iranian spy was supposed to inform the Israeli side about Hassan Nasrallah's arrival at Hezbollah's headquarters, reports "Le Parisien." Then, the Israeli Air Force launched the attack.

As "Le Parisien" learned from a source in the Lebanese security services, Nasrallah was at the funeral of Hezbollah's drone unit commander Mohammad Surur, who had died the previous day in an Israeli attack.

At that moment, the Israeli F-35s were already prepared for the attack. They were just waiting for Nasrallah to arrive at Hezbollah's headquarters, located in an underground bunker. The leader of the terrorist organisation went there by car, accompanied by one of the commanders of the Iranian Al-Quds forces.

Besides Nasrallah, 12 other commanders attended the meeting at the headquarters. The Iranian spy was supposed to signal the Israeli side when everyone was in the room, reported "Le Parisien." That was when the attack occurred.

"The largest attack in years"

According to informants of the French newspaper, six bombs were dropped on Hezbollah's headquarters. The explosions left a crater 30 metres deep, and the headquarters were destroyed.

- This is the largest attack we've seen since 2006 - said a source in the Lebanese security forces to "Le Parisien."

According to Reuters, Nasrallah's body was found, but the signs on the body do not indicate that he died directly in the explosion. It is presumed that he died from injuries sustained due to the shockwave following the explosion.

Besides Nasrallah, who led Hezbollah since 1992, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Abbas Nilforoushan, also died in the attack. Tehran announced that "this horrible crime of the aggressor Zionist regime will not go unanswered."
