- At least 60 people were killed on Monday in several Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon's eastern province of Baalbek, according to the Ministry of Health in Beirut. The death toll may rise, noted Baalbek province governor Bachir Khodr. This was the bloodiest day for the Baalbek region since the beginning of the war. Israel attacked at least 12 towns, with two children among the victims.
- "We do not know who will win the presidential elections in the USA, but we consider every risk," said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking from the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik in response to a question about a possible victory for Donald Trump.
