Ingenious beach hack: How fitted sheets keep sand at bay

The worst thing about relaxing on the beach is the sand that continually creeps into our clothes, food, and toys. However, the Polish have found a solution for this. Increasingly, they are taking fitted sheets to the beach.

Most of us can't imagine a holiday without sunbathing. Spending time on the beach is a symbol of summer laziness. All you need to do is prepare some food and drink, take your favourite book or magazine, and lie down on the hot sand.

What probably annoys everyone on the beach is the sand that passers-by carelessly sprinkle onto our towels or blankets. It quickly finds its way into our clothes, children's toys, and worse, our food. This is not only irritating but also unhygienic.

A fitted sheet on the beach is a great trick

But there's a trick for this, too. Simply replace the traditional beach towel with a regular fitted sheet. Although it may seem strange - and many people smile at the sight of it, it is a very effective and practical solution.

The fitted sheet helps keep the area free from sand. This keeps our belongings clean and prevents the presence of ants and other insects where we are relaxing.

You must stretch out the sheet and place objects in the four corners, such as bags or shoes, to hold it down. This way, you create "walls" that protect your resting place from sandy intruders. Brilliant, right?
