Jake Paul, a YouTuber who has transformed his career towards boxing, has commenced intense preparations for the fight against Mike Tyson.
Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, discussed the potential threat to his close friend Tyson with Paul's brother, Logan.
Hogan, a 13-time WWE champion, praised Paul's strength, stating that he is incredibly strong and that his right-hand punches can be downright deadly.
I love Mike to death. I don't want him to kill Mike, Jesus, said Hogan.
Jake Paul has 10 victories in boxing and one loss, while the 58-year-old Mike Tyson ended his professional career in 2005 after a series of unsuccessful fights and personal issues. Still, Tyson returned to the ring in 2020 for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr.
The scheduled fight with Paul will be a professional bout. Due to his age, Tyson will be subject to mandatory tests for banned substances and additional heart and brain examinations.
Big fight on Netflix
Tyson had to cancel the original fight date, 20 July, due to stomach issues, but he assured us that he would be fully capable of the upcoming clash. This fight will also be Netflix's first experiment with live boxing streaming.
This event will surely attract global attention from boxing and combat sports fans, observing a generational clash and a test of strength, technique, and experience of the legendary Tyson against the young and ambitious Paul.
