Hugh Grant reveals daughters' quirky names on Kimmel Live
Hugh Grant, the 63-year-old actor known for films such as "Notting Hill," "Love Actually," "Four Weddings and a Funeral," and "Bridget Jones's Diary," has publicly revealed the names of his youngest daughters for the first time. On the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" show, he discussed the original names Lulu Danger and Blue and the amusing circumstances surrounding their naming.
During the conversation with Jimmy Kimmel, Grant was asked about his unusual middle name – Mungo. The actor admitted his full name is Hugh John Mungo Grant and joked that it suggests he had "not very kind parents." However, he added that he had given his children more unusual names.
2018 Grant married the Swedish presenter Anna Eberstein, 18 years younger. Together, they have three children. Their 8-year-old daughter is named Lulu Danger Grant. "I have a daughter who I named…I was in a bit of a panic with my wife on the day we named her and we thought it might be nice for her when she was older if she could say in bars that her middle name was Danger," the actor explained.
The couple's youngest daughter, 5-year-old Blue, received her name thanks to a suggestion from her older brother. "And we did think about calling her Kevin but then we said, ‘You better think of something else.’ So he said Blue because it was his favourite colour," Grant recounted.

The actor also has a 12-year-old son, John Mungo, with Anna Eberstein, and two children with his former partner Tinglan Hong: 13-year-old daughter Tabitha Xiao Xi and 11-year-old son Felix Chang Hong. Grant strives to protect his family's privacy.
In a 2020 interview with the Los Angeles Times, he admitted that fatherhood has positively impacted him.
"Because suddenly, instead of being a half-atrophied, middle-aged golfer, I’m a man with a life full of love. I love my wife, I love my children. They love me. And, suddenly — very unusual for an Englishman — I have all this access to emotion. Almost too much access. Sometimes it’s hard to keep it down," Grant confessed.
From 22 November, Hugh Grant can be seen in cinemas in the horror film "Heretic."
