How to quickly chill summer drinks: A simple and effective method
On hot days, there is nothing worse than serving warm drinks. Sometimes, however, we forget to put them in the fridge beforehand. So, how can you quickly cool drinks? We have a simple yet highly effective method for you.
How to quickly cool drinks in summer?
Many of us know that one of the simplest ways to quickly cool a drink is to place it in the freezer or, as a last resort, in the refrigerator. However, few realize that there are other ways.
For example, you can wrap the bottle with a wet paper towel. Although this may seem surprising, this method works. It's worth combining these two methods for maximum efficiency. Below, you will find a brief description of how to do it. You'll be amazed at how the temperature of the drink changes.
Take a bottle of the drink you want to cool and wrap it in a towel. Then pour cold water over it
For comparison, you can take the second bottle (without the towel) and put both into the freezer or refrigerator for the same amount of time
After 10-15 minutes, take the drinks out. You might notice just by touch that the bottle, which you did not wrap in a wet paper towel, is warmer
On the other hand, the bottle wrapped in a wet towel is a few degrees cooler.
According to many people, this trick is the best way to quickly cool drinks in the summer. Let's add one more element that will increase the effectiveness of the wet paper towel. By putting a little salt between the paper towel and the bottle, the drink will cool even faster. Salt particles are great conductors in this context. You don't have to worry about the taste of the drink – the salt will not affect its saltiness.
