Ingredients:
- 3 large potatoes, preferably type C,
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika,
- 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic,
- 1 tablespoon herbes de Provence,
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Instructions:
Step 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly but do not peel them. Cut into thin slices, preferably using a mandoline slicer. Transfer to a bowl of cold water and set aside for 20 minutes. This will remove excess starch from the potatoes and make the crisps even crispier.
Step 2. Wrap each potato slice in a roll and skewer it on a long skewer stick. Dip the sticks in hot oil and fry until golden brown. Carefully remove the potatoes using metal tongs.
Step 3. Lay the fried crisps for a moment on a paper towel to remove excess oil, then transfer to a bowl, removing the skewer stick. Sprinkle with spices and mix thoroughly. Serve alone or with your favourite dip. Enjoy!
