The first reports of the Chat GPT outage appeared around 7:00 AM GMT on Thursday, January 23rd. According to reports published on the DownDetector service, the outage is global. The company responsible for this AI model is aware of the issues and is already addressing them. What caused the AI tool's failure is unknown.

In addition to the website where OpenAI provides Chat GPT, mobile applications that utilise this artificial intelligence are also not working. Users reporting the outage also comment that the applications do not work even with a paid subscription. "Chat GPT isn't working, £20 a month down the drain," writes one user on the DownDetector service.
