From 90's style icon to directing: Jennie Garth's journey 33 years after playing Kelly Taylor

Since her television debut, 33 years have elapsed. Kelly Taylor, best friend to Brenda Walsh and beloved of Dylan McKay, quickly won the hearts of viewers who sat before their televisions every Sunday watching the series "Beverly Hills 90210". Kelly Taylor became one of the style icons of the 90's, imitated by numerous teenagers of the era. Mom jeans, oversized jackets, crop tops, and headbands, which she sported in the series, sprang up in fans' wardrobes almost overnight.

Jennie Garth was raised in a large house on a horse ranch and is the youngest of seven siblings. She dreamed of a career as a dancer. After being noticed at a competition by a talent scout, at the tender age of 15 she moved with her mother to Los Angeles to continue her education and kick-start her career.

Nevertheless, as Jennie Garth states, "I don’t contemplate slowing down, or refraining from all the things I used to do every day. The condition doesn't limit me."

The iconic Kelly has been friends with her fellow actress from the series, Donna (played by Tori Spelling), since the inception of her acting career.

Regularly painting the town together and collectively attending industry events, they often choose identical or closely resembling outfits.

With "BFF" status for over three decades, they've constantly supported each other through highs and lows. " This is true friendship. We met in our teenage years. You don't find such lifelong friendships easily in your 50s," stated Tori Spelling.

She adds, "We share a lot in common. We are mainly mothers, and our kids are friends too. Our families spend a great deal of time together."

50-year-old Jennie Garth looks as if only a decade has passed since the broadcast of the last episode of "Beverly Hills 90210". The star, who avoids obvious cosmetic interventions, exudes a natural and modest aura.
