The iPhone 1, released in 2007, is the top-billed specimen among phone collectors. Its current value on the auction market can go up to £34,000, as "Le Soir" reported. This demonstrates how, once a mundane aspect of communication, devices have become prized artefacts for collectors today.

Other phones are similarly appreciated. For example, the Motorola Aura R1, renowned for its unique rotating keyboard, is priced close to £850. A bit more costly is the Motorola 8000X model, which could cost the buyer more than £2,500.
