Ford Puma phase-lift: Enhanced interior design and hinted electric variant yet to reveal
The Puma has surpassed the Fiesta in sales, prompting the need for a facelift a few years into production. Alterations to the bodywork are almost a market standard - the badge position has been slightly adjusted, the LED lights have been updated, and matrix technology has been included for the first time. Additionally, a new wheel design was introduced. While these changes could be positive, they may not be substantial enough to warrant an immediate visit to the dealership.

The interior of the Puma has undergone more significant alterations, and these changes might not sit well with everyone. Previously equipped with an 8-inch protruding screen, the model now boasts a 12-inch display with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. However, air conditioning can now only be managed via the multimedia system. The list of supplementary systems includes an automatic braking system that activates when cross-traffic is detected during reverse.
There haven't been many changes under the hood, and the choice remains limited. A one-liter engine with a mild hybrid system continues to offer outputs of 123, 152, and 167 BHP. Top versions come with a seven-speed automatic Powershift transmission. Details regarding the top-of-the-range ST variant and its 1.5l engine remain undisclosed. However, the manufacturer has revealed plans for an upcoming electric version, although specific details are yet to be released.
