Eurovision's high notes: Slovenia stuns with bold fashion choice

On May 7th in Malmö, the 68th Eurovision Song Contest kicked off with its first semi-final. Tuesday evening's showcase featured 16 performers from countries including Portugal, Finland, Ukraine, and Poland. The highlight of the first semi-final was Slovenian vocalist Raiven, also known as Sara Briški Cirman. She is a multifaceted talent, embodying roles as a singer, songwriter, actress, model, and harpist. The 28-year-old's Eurovision performance of her song "Veronika" was noteworthy because of her memorable outfit.

The Slovenian star's ensemble featured silver adornments over the chest and similarly designed panties, embracing the bold trend of sheer garments. Under the stage lights, the outfit dazzled, creating an unforgettable "wow" moment.

Raiven's Eurovision story extends beyond just this Tuesday's performance. She unsuccessfully participated in her national qualifiers twice and made her Eurovision debut in 2019 in Tel Aviv. At the 64th Eurovision Song Contest, her electropop track "Kaos" earned her a second-place finish. The classically trained vocalist has released one studio album, "Magenta", which premiered in 2017.
