The baby girl was initially taken to a hospital on the island of Formentera before being flown to the Can Misses medical facility in nearby Ibiza. It was there that she lost her battle for life.

Her father, aged 33, was taken to Formentera Hospital with 'minor' injuries, according to "The Sun."

The tragic incident occurred on Es Copinyar beach. This location is considered a true paradise. Visitors can enjoy beautiful landscapes and crystal-clear waters there.

Tragedy in Spain. what exactly happened?

The victims of the incident are Spanish. The girl's mother was not on the beach during the tragedy.

Reports indicate that the rock slide occurred when the father stood up to put a dummy in the child's mouth. A large boulder fell on the child's back, according to media reports.

Witnesses and medical personnel tried to resuscitate the girl at the scene. Unfortunately, their efforts were not successful.

An investigation into this tragedy is ongoing. For now, it is difficult to determine whether it could have been avoided.
