Emma Heming Willis supports Bruce's former wife
When Demi Moore was recognized by the film industry with a Golden Globe after 40 years of her career, it was a beautiful evening for the actress's loved ones. Emma Heming Willis, who has been Bruce Willis's wife since 2009, also posted a comment on social media. "We're screaming over here!!! Congratulations @demimoore!!!!! (sic)," wrote the entrepreneur, who today takes care of the seriously ill actor together with Bruce's former wife and his children.
Not only Emma was excited about Demi's success. Moore and Willis's daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, also expressed joy. A video posted by Scout on Instagram shows the whole family and friends cheering at the news of Demi's win. Scout wrote under the video: "SHE DID IT"
Let's recall that Bruce and Demi got married in 1987 in Las Vegas, and a month later, they held a big party for 450 guests. To accommodate all of them, the movie stars organised the event at Warner Bros. studios. No wonder, because at that time, both Demi and Bruce were in the Hollywood Pantheon. They starred in blockbuster films and together earned a fortune. They had three daughters during their marriage, but they weren't destined to remain together forever. They announced their separation in 2000. Demi was in a relationship with Ashton Kutcher for a few years, while Bruce found love with Emma Heming - a model and actress who is 25 years younger than him.
For the sake of the children, Bruce and Demi remained friends. They never aired their dirty laundry in public, instead openly talked about their relationship, which to this day surprises many people. "We became a peculiar tribe," commented the "Die Hard" star when Demi and Ashton appeared at his wedding with Emma.
Demi explained that many are surprised and intrigued because they often associate divorce with pain, jealousy, and animosity, making it difficult for them to grasp the nature of their relationship. Bruce added that they both prioritized their children and are fortunate to still enjoy each other's company, despite his recent retirement from acting due to health issues.
The whole family, including Bruce's former and current wife, takes care of Bruce, who suffers from frontotemporal dementia. "Anniversaries used to bring excitement — now, if I’m honest, they stir up all the feelings, leaving a heaviness in my heart and a pit in my stomach," wrote Emma recently, reflecting on 17 years of marriage with Willis.
