Environmental protest at Duke of Westminster's wedding. Police intervened
We all know that royals are accustomed to grand celebrations for important events. This time was no different; however, not everything went as planned during the lavish ceremony. Environmental activists from the organization Just Stop Oil almost disrupted the wedding of the Duke and his chosen one, boasting about it on Twitter.
As the newlyweds were leaving the cathedral, orange smoke began to emerge from the crowd, and two women started to scream. The other guests "rewarded" the environmentalists' behaviour with boos. The police quickly intervened and arrested those disrupting the ceremony. Footage of the incident was posted on Just Stop Oil's Twitter profile, and the comments under the post are notably polarized.
