At the time of the attack, the Prime Minister of Israel was not at his home in Caesarea.
The Israeli army stated that no one was injured during the attack, and the air defence system also intercepted two other drones.
Alarm in Tel Aviv
An air raid alert was also declared in Tel Aviv, which is situated further south.
The air defence detected a drone heading towards the Glilot district, where the headquarters of key Israeli intelligence services, including Mossad, are located.
Escalation in the Middle East
Hezbollah, backed by Iran, has been regularly shelling northern Israel since the conflict in the Gaza Strip erupted a year ago, prompting decisive responses.
For several weeks, Israel has been conducting intense air raids and a ground operation in southern Lebanon, declaring that their goal is the elimination of the threat from Hezbollah.
