The Ukrainian Armed Forces have engaged in more than 130 combat clashes with Russian troops over the last day.

According to the DeepState project, the Russians have occupied three villages south of Pokrovsk. The city, which had approximately 60,000 residents before 2022, is a key strategic point for the Ukrainian army. Russian forces are striving to encircle the city, highlighting the intensity of the conflict in this area.

The General Staff reported that in the vicinity of Pokrovsk, the adversary conducted 47 attacks. Russian losses in this area amounted to 300 soldiers killed and wounded, with four vehicles destroyed, including one tank, one mortar launcher, and one vehicle seriously damaged.

Drone attacks

On Thursday night, Russia sent 50 striking and reconnaissance drones to Ukraine. Ukrainian Air Forces shot down 33 of them, and ten were neutralised electronically. Debris from the falling drones injured a 13-year-old boy in the Kyiv region and damaged buildings in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Odesa regions.

One of the drones exited Ukrainian airspace and headed towards Romania. The Romanian Ministry of Defence confirmed the violation of Romanian airspace and the discovery of drone debris in Tulcea County. In response, two F-16 fighters scrambled, returning to base after two hours. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
