David Hasselhoff at 72: Life, love, and an enduring legacy
To this day, he holds the title of the most famous lifeguard in the world. On 17 July 2024, David Hasselhoff turned 72 years old. He is currently happily in love and building his life with his 27-year-old wife, Hayley Roberts.
He is a symbol of the '80s. The sandy beaches of "Baywatch" and the action-packed scenes of "Knight Rider" made him a legend. David Hasselhoff is even listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as "the most-watched TV star in the world."
The 72-year-old impresses with his form
The actor was considered one of the most handsome actors in the world. For a legion of female fans, he is still the epitome of masculinity. The image of the classic macho was always close to him, and he never hid it.
His piercing gaze and physique made him look very believable in the role of serial lifeguard Mitch Buchannon. Interestingly, in one of the interviews, Hasselhoff admitted that he is terribly afraid of water and therefore avoids any contact with the sea.

He has been married twice to Catherine Hickland and Pamela Bach, with whom he has two daughters. One of them posted a video on the internet in 2007 showing David Hasselhoff completely drunk. The video, in which their drunken father was eating a hamburger while lying on the ground, caused quite a stir and temporarily stalled his career. The actor started treatment and ultimately managed to get back on track.
In 2018, he walked down the aisle for the third time, and his bride was Hayley Roberts, who is 27 years younger. They met in 2011 when she, a big fan of the actor, waited for him after the recording of the British edition of "Got Talent" to get his autograph. The meeting quickly turned into a romantic relationship.
Before they decided to get married, the serial lifeguard dated her for six years. The actor had many doubts.
"To be honest, the reason I haven’t got married yet is because I know it’s not going to be a perfect relationship. We’re not going to grow old together, let’s face it," he confessed in one of the interviews.
