Court grants name change to Shiloh Jolie
American media have obtained documents stating that Shiloh received court approval to remove her father's last name. From now on, she can officially identify as Jolie. Learn the details of this decision.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's oldest biological daughter, Shiloh, turned 18 in May. Even then, there were talks that Shiloh wanted to forgo her father's surname and keep only her mother's surname. According to California law, a person who wants to make such a change must publish the request in a national newspaper's classified section and wait for the court's decision.
Shiloh didn't delay her decision. She applied just three days after her 18th birthday. American media reported that she obtained court approval and can go through Shiloh Jolie. She is another child of the star-studded couple to distance herself from her famous father symbolically.
Children distance themselves from Pitt
