If you're tired of the usual egg spread and can't stand cheese sandwiches anymore, it's time to try chopped salmon spread. It's healthy, tasty, and easy to prepare. The whole family will love the combination of delicate salmon, crunchy onion, fresh dill, and creamy cheese.

Chopped salmon spread is an excellent choice for those who appreciate healthy and nutritious breakfasts. Salmon is a rich source of protein and healthy omega-3 fats, which support brain and heart function. We also have fresh dill here, and the whole mixture is bonded together with cream cheese, a source of phosphorus and calcium. It's healthy, but most of all, it's delicious.

Preparing this breakfast is really quick. The trick for similar spreads is circulating online and really makes sense. You just need to place the ingredients on a board and chop them together, creating a spread. You can serve the spread on fresh bread, as a sandwich topping or as a dip for vegetables. When half-sour cucumbers are not available, you can use pickles or gherkins. The combination of ingredients gives the spread a unique, delicate, and slightly salty taste.

Ingredients:

  • 2 half-sour cucumbers,
  • 100 grams smoked salmon,
  • 3 slices of red onion,
  • 120 millilitres fresh dill,
  • 400 grams cream cheese,
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Additions:

  • Bread.

Preparation method:

Step 1. Place the cucumber slices on a cutting board. Add the smoked salmon, red onion slices, and fresh dill. Chop everything with a knife.

Step 3. Spread the ready mixture on the bread. I recommend a solid, thick layer—it's so tasty you won't want to miss out. Enjoy!
