Chaos in the skies: Roisin Murphy's Ryanair flight to Ibiza

It was a restless flight, not due to turbulence or technical issues but rather the passengers' behaviour. Irish singer Roisin Murphy captured the antics on a flight from London's Stansted Airport to Ibiza and posted the video online.

Roisin Murphy flew from Stansted to Ibiza on Friday evening (25th October). She hoped to relax by reading a book on the plane. Unfortunately, she was unable to unwind. The Ryanair flight was filled with young passengers who began partying in mid-air.

During the flight, passengers shouted, drank, sang, and played music. The festivities were in full swing. The well-known Irish singer recorded and shared the entire episode online, adding a humorous comment to the video.

I'm just trying to educate myself! #ryanair Stansted to #Ibiza ✈️ on a Friday night.. Pretty sure I was the only one trying to read Dostoevsky! - she wrote.

Internet users divided on the flight's reception - will Ryanair ban alcohol?

Commenters are split on the situation. Some note that it's a flight to the "party capital of Europe", and young people "need to let loose." However, others point out that such behaviour is dangerous and uncomfortable for other passengers.

Flights to Ibiza always make me uneasy. People behave as if they're crazy. It's hard to hear the crew's announcements, and it would be dangerous in the case of turbulence. I dislike flying in such an atmosphere - wrote one of the internet users.

It should be noted that Ryanair plans to curb such behaviour. The company's head, Michael O'Leary, has announced that the carrier might introduce strict restrictions on consuming alcohol on board the plane.

British airlines have already banned the consumption of alcohol purchased in the duty-free zone on board. This ban applies to party destinations such as the aforementioned Ibiza, Malaga, and Tenerife.
