California blaze: Celebrities among thousands losing homes
Many residents of California have lost their lives and possessions due to devastating fires that have already engulfed an area of over 1,000 hectares. Among the affected are celebrities such as Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, and Spencer Pratt.
The fires in Los Angeles, which began on 7 January 2025, have forced tens of thousands of residents to evacuate. The blaze has spread across areas from Santa Monica to Malibu. Eva Halina Rich, a star of "Hollywood Wives," reported on the situation in LA, highlighting the danger and chaos associated with hurricane-force winds and power outages. Although the fire did not directly affect her home, she was ready to evacuate, as she showed on Instagram.
The fire has already covered over 1,000 hectares, which illustrates the scale of the disaster that California residents are facing. Adam Brody and Anna Faris are among the celebrities most affected by the fires ravaging Los Angeles. Both lost their homes to the raging fire.
Stars lose homes in Los Angeles fires
Adam Brody and his wife, actress Leighton Meester, lived in Pacific Palisades, where the first fire broke out on Tuesday morning. Their home was reduced to rubble and ashes. TMZ obtained footage showing Adam and Leighton’s house ablaze, with black smoke rising above the destruction.
The home of Anna Faris in Palisades was also burned down. The materials obtained by TMZ show that the entire building was levelled to the ground by the fire. Among the disaster victims were Spencer Pratt and his wife, Heidi Montag, who were evacuated on Tuesday and watched from a distance as their Palisades residence burned. Pratt informed via social media that his parents also lost their home in the fire.
