A shocking incident occurred on one of the Mexican beaches. A tourist was attacked by a wild bull. A group of onlookers recorded everything, and the video was posted on social media.

"A bull charged at a woman on a beach in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur over the weekend as horrified tourists watched and warned her to back away," - we read under the video posted on Instagram by CBS Evening News.

Shocking video

In the recording, which has already been viewed 112,000 times, you can see the bull approaching the woman's bag and other personal belongings. She is then able to slowly back away, as encouraged by other people nearby. "You are really irritating him. Please don't do that, run away!" someone yells in the background. However, the woman does not do this. Quite the opposite – she tries to grab her bags. "Jesus! Run away!" the onlookers exclaim.

Her behaviour enrages the bull, who finally attacks the woman. The increasingly aggressive animal knocks the beachgoer over, and the situation looks very dangerous as the woman, pushed by the bull, falls down.

When the woman tries to get up, the aggressive bull strikes her again with his horns, causing another dangerous fall. The animal tosses her around, and the beachgoers shout that she didn't listen to them.

Finally, another woman runs out from behind a car parked on the beach carrying a bucket of water and tries to splash the bull with it. This manages to scare the animal away a bit. The injured woman, whose identity is unknown, gets up and makes her way to a safe place.

Netizens comment

The video garnered a flood of comments. Netizens praise the behaviour of the woman who tried to help the one attacked by the bull in any way she could. Most of the commenters criticize the men who did nothing to help the victim. "Notice that the only person who helped was another woman with a blue bucket of water, while the guys did nothing! Someone could have started the car or honked the horn..." – reads one of the comments under the video.

A significant majority of netizens consistently state that the attacked woman should have immediately moved away from the bull, instead of persistently trying to grab her bags, thus angering the wild animal.
