Scrambled eggs are one of the favourite breakfast ideas. If we're already making them, it's also worth considering our health by adding a pinch of a product that costs pennies. It will benefit the body, and we won't even feel its taste.

Many people choose popular scrambled eggs for breakfast every morning, usually accompanied by sandwiches or vegetables. Although it is certainly a healthy option, it's worth adding a pinch of one product that will make it even healthier. What exactly are we talking about? Turmeric, which is a powerful antioxidant.

Add turmeric to scrambled eggs

A few years ago, it was mistakenly believed that the frequent consumption of scrambled eggs had a negative impact on cholesterol. The World Health Organization debunked this myth. According to the WHO, a healthy person can consume up to 12 eggs per week.

Scrambled eggs are, therefore, a great breakfast option. Fried in a small amount of butter, complemented with salt, pepper, and favourite additions, they are healthy and provide satiety. If we want them to care for our body even more, let's add a pinch of turmeric, also known as long turmeric or Indian saffron. Available in root form (similar to ginger) and as a powder, it costs just a few pence.

Turmeric is a health bomb

Unfortunately, not everyone knows about turmeric's many health benefits. First, it is one of the most potent antioxidants, showing powerful anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, and anticancer effects. Regular consumption reduces high cholesterol levels and protects the digestive system.

Where can we add turmeric? Besides scrambled eggs, it works well in soups, stews, curries, smoothies, or teas - with the addition of lemon, honey, and cloves.

Important! Turmeric can affect the action of some medications. Before starting to consume it regularly, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
