Bay leaves offer many beneficial properties. They are an essential addition to many dishes and can also be used for home aromatherapy. They are common ingredients in various natural remedies that help the body fight infections. Additionally, bay leaves can aid in weight reduction.
Why is it worth combining bay leaves with apples?
Although combining bay leaves with apples may seem unusual, it yields excellent results. This is due to the properties of these two ingredients. Bay leaves are rich in vitamins A, C, and B-group, as well as minerals like iron, potassium, selenium, magnesium, and zinc. Scientists from the Medical University in Iran claim that bay leaves help reduce fat tissue, have anti-stress effects, and support immunity. Apples, on the other hand, contain phytonutrients that effectively combat free radicals and support vision.
