Australian FMX icon Jayden Archer dies during training at 27
Jayden Archer stood out amongst Australian motorcyclists. He marked his name in history as the first to execute a triple backflip in the air during formal competitions. This notable event unfolded in November 2022 at the Best Trick contest during the Nitro World Games in Brisbane, Australia.
'It's a sentiment I can't express in words. It signifies a lot more to me than merely an ordinary trick. I have devoted my whole life to this, the past three years being devoted solely to training.' - the sportsman remarked soon after completing the stunt.
Jayden Archer has passed away
As reported by Sky News, Archer tragically lost his life while rehearsing his trademark manoeuvre, the triple backflip. For a full decade, the Australian had been linked with the Nitro Circus organisation, which relayed the heartbreaking news to followers on Instagram.
'Jayo embodied zeal, diligence and persistence. (...) He not only positively influenced other people, but was primarily an exceptional individual and a friend to all of us.' - The statement read.
Throughout his career, Jayden clinched two X Games medals. Of late, the 27-year-old had been working diligently to perform a quadruple backflip in the air. He had also planned to tie the knot this year.
