Artificial intelligence is developing at an increasingly rapid pace. This is evident in AI advancements and cars that no longer require a human driver. This point is perfectly illustrated by a short video from China, where a man is lying on the seat while the car drives itself and he watches the Euro 2024 match.

For several years, technological development has accelerated at an alarming rate, as evidenced by the calls from major American brands to halt the development of artificial intelligence. This technology has undergone a massive transformation in the past year, becoming ubiquitous and used in nearly every creative industry.

Advancements, including AI, have significantly improved many commonly used tools, such as phones and televisions. The changes have also affected the automotive industry.

This phenomenon is perfectly shown in more videos, where people travelling in modern cars supported by autopilots are able to almost completely stop driving. Some have so much faith in technology that they choose not to look at the road and engage in other activities.

This is surprising because, although the idea of autopilot, for example, in aeroplanes, has been known for years, it has never been so autonomous. Meanwhile, as more and more videos posted online prove, even when moving on the road, where autopilot faces more dangers than in the air, it remains flawless.

One of the residents of China decided to show this by driving such a car on one of the local roads. There would be nothing unusual about this if not because while the car was moving, he was lying on the seat and watching one of the ongoing Euro 2024 matches.

Commenters on the video note that the car is moving through an empty tunnel, making the autopilot's task particularly easy. Nevertheless, the AI-driven car's autonomy is still an incredible achievement.
