Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky expects 80-100 countries to participate in the first inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland, the date of which will be determined in the coming days. He announced this during the information telethon "United News."

We expect 80-100 countries to participate in it. We believe it will be the most powerful summit, the Peace Summit. A very important summit, at which we will meet with our partners and on which, I think, we will build a map of further steps to end the war, President Volodymyr Zelensky conveyed.

When asked whether China plans to participate in the summit, the President said a specific list of countries has not yet been created.

In the coming days (I hope not weeks), we will agree on a specific date for the first inaugural summit in Switzerland. We need to agree on this date bilaterally between me and the President of Switzerland. Then we will send invitations in various formats to world leaders, the President of Ukraine explained.

The President emphasized that support from the United States is extremely important for Ukraine.

We understand when the Russians can launch a counteroffensive. So here is the answer: when obtaining an adequate amount of weapons is critical. Without this funding, we will not be able to obtain such quantities. And I still believe that we will be able to obtain a positive voting outcome in the United States Congress, said Volodymyr Zelensky.

I won’t say how many Patriot systems we have. I will only say that to fully secure Ukraine, it is desirable for Ukraine to have 25 Patriot systems with 6-8 batteries each in the future, the President informed.

Ukraine regularly informs the American side about the situation at the front and the urgent needs of the defence forces. Macroeconomic assistance from the United States will strengthen the country's economy and Ukrainian armed forces.
