Why Kieran Culkin won't show "Home Alone" to his kids yet
Kieran Culkin was 8 years old when he appeared in "Home Alone" alongside his popular brother. However, he hasn't shown this holiday hit to his own children yet. Now he explains why.
The actor, who, along with his wife Jazz Charton, is raising daughter Kinsey (5 years old) and son Wilder (3 years old), played the main character's cousin in the 1990 film and its 1992 sequel. For the first few years, viewers overlooked that the little boy with glasses drinking a beverage before bed was, in real life, Macaulay Culkin's biological brother, the on-screen Kevin.
During a conversation with E!, Culkin admitted that "there are still too many scary moments" for his young children.
"For the 3-year-old, there’s the tarantula [and] there’s the guy at the end who said, ‘I’m gonna bite off all your fingers.’ That’s scary for a 3-year-old" he added.

In another interview with the "Los Angeles Times," the actor recounted his experiences on the film set, admitting that he didn't fully understand the plot while filming. Culkin admitted he had no clue about the movie's plot even though he was part of it. At the premiere, he found himself laughing uncontrollably, calling it the funniest thing he had ever experienced.
