How to make homemade garlic rolls?

Just follow the simple step-by-step recipe. Start by preparing the yeast starter, then knead the dough. After the dough has risen, form the rolls and brush them with garlic butter. Bake the rolls in the oven until golden. Done!
Below is the recipe for garlic rolls:

Ingredients for the dough:

- 500 grams of all-purpose flour,
- 1 teaspoon of sugar,
- 25 grams of fresh yeast,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil,
- About 250 ml of water,
- About 50 ml of warmed milk.
**Ingredients for the garlic mixture:**
- 5 cloves of garlic,
- 4 tablespoons of butter,
- 1 teaspoon of Provençal herbs,
- ½ teaspoon of dried oregano,
- A pinch of salt.
**How to prepare:**

1. Start by preparing the starter. Add sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, and warm milk to crush the yeast in a bowl. Mix well and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.

2. Sift the flour into a bigger bowl. Add salt, the risen starter, warm water, and oil. Knead the dough vigorously until all the ingredients are combined. If necessary, add more flour or water. Cover the dough with a cloth and leave to rise until it doubles in volume.

3. After the dough has risen, divide it into medium-sized balls. Arrange them on baking paper and leave to rise for about 20 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, prepare the garlic mixture. Peel the garlic and press it through a crusher. Add melted butter, salt, and herbs, and mix well.

5. Apply the garlic mixture to the rolls and place in an oven preheated to 180°C. Bake for about 20 minutes, until the rolls become golden and fragrant.
6. After baking, wait a moment for them to cool.

Additional tips:

- You can add your favourite herbs, such as basil, thyme, or rosemary, to the dough.
- Garlic rolls are perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
- You can also serve them as a snack for a barbecue or picnic.
- Garlic rolls taste best when warm, but you can also reheat them in the oven or on a pan.
