Wedding bliss or beachy blushes? Couples eye nudist ceremonies
Foreign media are abuzz with the idea of an unusual wedding ceremony. One proposal is organizing ceremonies on one of Sardinia's nudist beaches. The mayor of the nearby San Vero Milis has even supported this initiative. Will there be any takers for such an unconventional wedding? Will the officials and guests also need to be naked?

Today, the definition of a wedding has significantly changed from what older generations knew. Young couples are increasingly making decisions about how to seal their love. In the past, many chose church weddings due to or under the influence of religious family members. Currently, we observe a clear shift in this trend. Many engaged couples, for example, opt for humanist or outdoor weddings. Will anyone be interested in organizing a wedding on a nudist beach?
Wedding on a nudist beach
Benas Beach is a famous spot for nudists. The area is trendy among visitors. Enthusiasts of this form of relaxation eagerly choose the Sardinian beach. Recently, the idea has emerged to start organizing wedding ceremonies there.
According to foreign portals, the Italian authorities announced that soon, Benas will be open to couples who dream of getting married naked. At this moment, there are no details about the ceremony specifics. It is unknown whether the guests and the official must be unclothed.
Who supports the idea of naked weddings?
The mayor of the nearby San Vero Milis voiced his opinion in the discussion: "For several years, Benas Beach has been popular among nudists. Their lifestyle should be respected, so why not? We have this beach, a place that is perfect for naturism. Then we thought: 'Let's make the beach a place for weddings'. If people want to get married naked, they can do it." The man commented to CNN.
Unfortunately, not everyone supports this progressive trend. The owner of Arbus Adventures, a company that organizes boat tours in the area, vehemently opposes the idea: "I respect the naturists, but naturists must also respect those who do not want to expose themselves. Giving them this part of the beach was a mistake because they are given so many people who do not like it."
