Blake's wife, Hye Rim Choi, filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences," according to TMZ. The couple married in July 2019, but Choi did not provide a date of separation, leaving the exact moment of their split unclear. The marriage did not produce any children.
He was a child star
Blake and his twin brother Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit played Nicky and Alex Katsopolis in "Full House" for 70 episodes from 1992 to 1995. Previously, Daniel and Kevin Renteria played these characters in 12 episodes between 1991 and 1992. The twins were the sons of Jesse and Becky Katsopolis, portrayed by John Stamos and Lori Loughlin.
In 2015, Lori Loughlin, in an interview with "Glamour" magazine, talked about reuniting with the twins on the "Fuller House" set: "I knew what they looked like because I found them on Twitter, and we started following each other and communicating a little bit through that. I knew what they looked like grown-up, but it was really nice to see them! It's more of the nostalgia [that] it's really them, and they're doing a great job. They're really funny!"
Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit continues to work behind the scenes in the entertainment industry. According to IMDb, over the last six years, he has worked as a sound editor on projects such as the game "World of Warcraft: Dragonflight" and films like "Home Team" (2022), "My Fiona" (2021), "Emperor" (2020), "The Blackout" (2019), and "Beyond White Space" (2018). He also held this role in "FBI" and "Castle Rock" series.
Blake is not interested in fame. He has an Instagram account where he occasionally posts old photos with his twin brother or snapshots from the series. In January 2020, he commented on Bob Saget's death, whom he met as a child on the set. "I'm speechless. We kept running into each other unexpectedly, always followed by some sarcasm or a silly joke... You never know when you will see someone for the last time. @bobsaget, you'll be missed dearly by me and by the world. Rest In Peace Uncle Tanner," he wrote.
