Sweet rice with apples serves not only as a snack for the youngsters, but also as a splendid idea for breakfast or an afternoon treat for adults. I know this very well, as I occasionally have it myself. Naturally, the children eagerly join me then and even assist in preparing this dish. It's a splendid way to consume something healthy and enjoy some time together. And the rice with apples? What more can I say – it's delicious! As always.

Add to rice with apples

Despite a tried-and-tested recipe that has been cherished in my family for decades – and I suspect in yours too – I decided to incorporate one more intriguing ingredient into my rice with apples. It’s walnuts – a treasure trove of nutritional value and a remarkable support for brain function. Incidentally, these nuts meld perfectly with the other ingredients. Simply chop them and add them to the mixture. Try it yourself – I guarantee you'll notice the difference. Enjoy!
