Ukrainian units, in collaboration with other components of the army, targeted the arsenal of the Russian 1046th logistics centre near Karachev. According to the staff's information, twelve secondary explosions and detonations were recorded in the target area, highlighting the operation's effectiveness.

Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Centre for Counteracting Disinformation, confirmed the attack on the warehouse belonging to the Main Directorate of Rockets and Artillery of the Russian Ministry of Defence. The depot stored artillery ammunition from North Korea, guided aerial bombs, anti-aircraft missiles and ammunition for multiple rocket launchers.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine announced ongoing efforts to destroy Russian ammunition depots to curb Russia's aggression against Ukraine. They emphasised their determination to further weaken the military potential of the opponent through precise strikes on strategic logistic targets.

Night exchange of blows between Ukraine and Russia

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that on the same night, Russia attacked the country using 87 Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles and other unidentified drones. The confirmed shootdown of 51 enemy machines occurred in Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv.

Thanks to the effective use of electronic warfare measures, 30 Russian drones lost communication and were neutralised. One drone remains in Ukrainian airspace, and efforts to neutralise it are ongoing.
