The report noted that Ukrainian special forces received intelligence about a planned meeting involving officers from the 4th Guards Military Base of the Russian occupation forces in the Zaporizhzhia region.

After verifying the information, an operational plan was developed, supported by the "Tavria" Operational Group, the Unmanned Systems Forces, and the "Typhoon" Tactical Group of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Immediately after the briefing began, Ukrainian forces executed a precision strike using HIMARS rocket launchers on a convoy of Russian officers' vehicles. When the evacuation team arrived, Ukrainian security and defence forces deployed assault drones to strike the Russian forces.

The report revealed that, as a result of the operation, three officers of the Russian armed forces were killed: Dmitry Nagorny, commander of the 1st Battalion of the 135th Motor Rifle Regiment; Grigory Krokhmalov, deputy chief of staff for intelligence and chief of intelligence of the 135th Motor Rifle Regiment; and Captain Yuri Fomin, commander of the anti-aircraft battery of the 4th Guards Military Base.
